We have made some slight modifications based on reviews from out peers. You will note that we have broken the model down into three distinct phases for easier viewing. Phase I involves reviewing the reciprocal factors to determine if the issue can be resolved with instruction. If we reach the determination that the issue is one of knowledge, skills or attitude we would then proceed to phase II. In phase II we formulate the ideal a principle taken directly from the work of Bob Diamond. This is the conceptualization in output terms of the final solution before any barriers have been introduced, real or artificial. Phase III follows the procedures of the ADDIE model with a few exceptions. Formative evaluation is added as a separate process which is integral to all stages. We wanted the process to a systemic review at each level. Media selection was identified as we agree with Romi's theory of selection by rejection. Media selection is not meant to be a point of media selection, but more a place holder for what will be the final selection based on criterion and restraints. Front end analysis is included at this stage as an evaluation of the problems layers. We assume there will be layers to each problem and for our design FEA means the review, characterization and hierarchical categorization of these levels. Lastly Pilot Test was more for us that anyone else this was a point for us to check or design, tools and methods to make sure they are aligned to address the gap. Lastly, For someone whom has reviewed this design previous, we have removed summative evaluation form the processes. Our primary concern is process improvement and instruction in that vein we felt formative evaluation was more useful.
